The Job’s Mission:

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s Upper-Extremities product portfolio in Norway.

Our Upper-Extremities business offers innovative devices for the treatment of bone fractures as well as prosthetic replacements of upper-extremity joints (shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist). In this role, you will develop strategic approaches to optimize customer service and support the acquisition of new customers through technical expertise.

Your key responsibilities:

  • In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with product trainings to learn about the product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will identify, analyze and prospect new customers, while providing ongoing service to existing customers.
  • You will implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations, including with surgeons, hospital administration and purchasing departments.
  • With the product knowledge you have built up, you advise and train medical and surgical professionals on its use during demonstrations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating theater when needed.
  • You will interact with decision-making units and be a reliable partner to our customers throughout the sales process.
  • You will participate congresses, seminars, and business meetings to expand your knowledge and customer contact.

What are we looking for?

  • You already have demonstrable sales experience, preferably within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industries – and would like to move into a role that also has a clinical focus and technical depth, within the orthopedics product portfolio.
  • You hold a diploma/degree, preferably in fields such as business administration, sciences, physiotherapy, healthcare or in any other relevant areas or technical career.
  • Orthopedics/Anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but it is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Norwegian is required.
  • You hold a valid driver’s license as this position involves regular customer visits.
