South Retail Software Area is looking for one Business Analyst to join our team in Milano who will be closely cooperating with our globally acting retail customers helping them to bring their instore experience to the next level using Diebold Nixdorf compelling and innovative POS software solutions.

You are responsible for
- Analyses and documents customer requirements and business processes and keeps specifications up to date in line with standard methods and guidelines.
- Analyses, interprets and documents customer requirements and business processes, conducts fit/gap analysis, manages change requests and guides stake-holders in coordinating their requirements.
- Know-How on multiple domain level.
To be successful in this team you will have experience in
- Business Development and Sales
- Participates in sales bids demonstrating industry and domain know how.
- Holds project definition / discovery workshops, in order to assure business value to be delivered and re-use of standards.
- Business Analysis
- Drive standardization by using Solution Blueprints or predefined process books as basis for fit/gap analysis
- Creates Requirements Traceability Matrix and Functional Specifications for identified gaps.
- Facilitates customer workshops and meetings.
- Investigates complex customer's business needs and problems, using extensive process experience.
- Proposes potential improvements, including business case, in existing processes and systems within his domain area.
- Change Management
- Manages the change process by assuring that process and IT changes of high complexity and implementation meet business objectives and scoping.
- Drives for alignment with Product Management, Solution Blueprint and Infrastructure teams.
- Create and validate documentation like BRD (Business Requirement Documents), FSD (Functional Specification Documents), etc.
- Facilitate the coordination with technical resources in Global Centers and external providers during thewhole Change Management process
- Stakeholder Management
- Assures stakeholder objectives are identified and managed in such a way optimal support is provided to data gathering activities, requirements definitions and process changes
- Consistently gains agreement on commitments with stakeholders.
- Guides others on how to effectively use common techniques.
- Best Practices and Methods
- Plays a key role in the development and improvement of business analysis methods and tools within current practice.
- Organizes cross country, companywide transfer of knowledge.
- Follow the New Ways of Working Model implemented, which is based on Lean-Agile and SAFe methodology.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years’ experience on similar position
- Valuable experience with cloud solutions.
- 6+ years experience with retail systems and retail domain knowledge
- 6+ years of experience in Italian market
- Ideally 2+ years of international project management experience
- Ideally 2+ years of Lean/Agile experience
- Familiar with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DN solutions like Vynamic Self Checkout, Vynamic Retail Platform or with another Point-of-Sale solution.
