How would you bring in new deals and develop Keepit’s position in the US East market?

Keepit is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our sales department and target the US East market. 

We are growing fast as a company, and we are set on using our momentum to bring our SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience. As part of our expansion, we have brought in talented sales professionals across the US. Now we are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our sales team in the US and work with larger customers in Eastern part of the US market, covering the East Coast and focusing on the key business hubs in the Northeast. 

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Keepit, you will play a vital role in our ambitious expansion plans. Working with our partners and Partner Sales team as well as our SDR team, you will target enterprise accounts in your region. You will build trustworthy relations with key stakeholders, uncover needs and pains, and drive the sales process in collaboration with partners to close deals in a direct touch role. You will work with the support of our competent team of Sales Engineers, but as our solution is simple and user-friendly, you will quickly be able to drive most sales processes on your own.

Central tasks as Enterprise Account Executive with Keepit:

  • Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, including nurturing contacts, conducting screen share or in-person demos of Keepit’s SaaS solution, managing pipeline, and forecasting correctly on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Establish and nurture strong relations with enterprise customers and key decision-makers to sell Keepit’s platform and software solution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Partner Manager in the region and enable the Sales Executives to work for our partners. 
  • Leverage your network of potential customers and partners to help us grow a thriving partner-eco system in the region. 
  • Work creatively to hunt for new business and build new relations with potential customers by thinking outside the box and brainstorming new ideas with sales leadership in the US. 

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be joining our team in the US and report to our VP of Sales for the Americas, Noel Grant. We expect you to work from within the region, ideally from New York or another key business hub, to make it possible for you to meet with our customers and partners. Keepit, we take pride in being an equal opportunity employer and recognize how being a diverse workplace strengthens our product, customer relationships, and work culture.

The ideal candidate can build trustworthy relations with key stakeholders and balance different needs and agendas without compromising credibility. These skills could come from the relevant experience in technology sales to larger companies, account management, or business development.

2. Tech-savvy with a commercial mindset: Excellent understanding of the business value our solution can bring to our customers is key for this role. The role thus requires a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the backup- and recovery space, storage, or it-infrastructure, for example from competing solutions, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the business impacts of our product. 

3. Hunter-mentality: We are looking for someone ready to hunt for new business. We believe this requires a hunter-mentality and a person prepared to spend time and energy seeking new business relations. We believe this requires the discipline to keep going in the face of adversity and the will to systematically work to improve on both strengths and weaknesses to bring in more revenue. Having an existing customer network throughout the region would be a key asset.

4. Entrepreneurial spirit: We are passionate about our workplace, and we know that a good work environment and great collaboration across our organization are crucial to achieving our ambitious goals. For the position, we are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and can take initiative and who can at the same time be a positive contribution to our team, working remotely across the region. We need someone who can make a concrete and realistic plan and take ownership of the territory, while at the same time being able to out for a sparring session, and creatively co-develop ideas when things aren’t progressing as planned.
