Role and Responsibilities

Your main responsibility as Account Manager is to maximize the Regional sales (Sell through turn over Buying groups dealers) within the Home Appliances department, according to the Buying Group Key Accounts, company guidelines and regulations, in order to achieve the best results.

Besides that, your responsibilities are the following:

  • You build and maintain strong relationships and a high level of satisfaction according to the guidelines and internal sales plan, through strategic (annual) and tactical (quarterly) business planning to achieve strong trusted advisor relationship.
  • You focus on business opportunities arising from: new product introductions; end-of-life products as part of obsolescence cycle; new retail openings and marketing propositions.
  • You support and visit active Accounts within (Retail Buying group customers), work out deals and take the availability of products into account.
  • You make agreements and deals in consultation with the Field Sales Manager
  • You create clear sales reports (quarterly & yearly) of the sales process, status and forecast for the following period, within the rules and regulations of the company, in order to have full insight in to the sales process.
  • You suggest sales actions and exceptional discounts, within the rules and regulations of the marketing department, in order to promote new products with customers.
  • You work and communicate efficiently with sales & marketing team of the division and other departments: credit & collection, order processing, logistic, legal (contract with account), extended sales force, Service, finance department, marketing department & retail marketing team.
  • Budget.
  • You ensure that the additional budget of the division is spend on focused and agreed items according to the guidelines of the company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in account management and business development, preferably within the consumer electronics or technology industry.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
