As a Sales Director Excitation China for Process Automation Business Area in Pudong, China, you will be responsible for developing an effective BL Excitation sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintaining it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations.

Your responsibilities

  • Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor the performance
  • Anticipating and identifying he shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively
  • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources
  • Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Participating in the negotiation of key contracts
  • Identifying, monitoring and maintaining/exceeding the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team
  • Supporting Sales organizations to ensure the achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
  • Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams

Your background

  • 12 + plus years of experience in Sales roles, including sales management experience within multinational companies
  • Thorough understanding of Excitation business and customer needs in the different segments, Utilities and Industries
  • Proven personal leadership in building and leading sales teams, shaping collaborative, diverse and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and results orientation
  • Global mind-set, inter-cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent English and Chinese language skills (both verbal and written)
