The Field Service Specialist III-MR/Nuclear Medicine provides specialty medical equipment services under minimal supervision of BSI management. This individual is fundamentally skilled as a logical thinker and problem solver, primary duties include, but are not limited to, performing preventive maintenance inspections, installation support, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance on specialty imaging equipment. Secondary duties include providing equipment maintenance support on general medical equipment, as needed. This individual shall be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of the duties and have a strong mechanical ability to be able to teach and coach others. The FSS III- MR Nuc Med will ensure compliance with changes in regulations, policies and procedures set by national and state regulatory bodies to the team. Substantial background in performing risk assessments, inventory control and escalated customer issues. Responsible to ensure that all scheduled work is accomplished on time, customer needs are met, and the day-to-day operations impacting revenue are communicated as needed and appropriate resources are utilized to minimize any service interruptions. This individual contributes to department improvement and collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers. Pride and professionalism, as well as technical expertise, must be exhibited at all times for the success of all concerned.
