DESCRIPTION

As an Principal Account Director with Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on Philippines, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption, and market penetration across Philippines.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success/delivering results, ability to engage CxO’s with confidence, and able to orchestrate cross-functional teams (internally and externally), and should have good communication skills. Must possess the ability to explain cloud computing and infrastructure solutions at Level 100 (minimum).

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory
  • Impact market awareness in the Philippines market
  • Exceed a set business objectives
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive enterprise account plan
  • Manage large enterprise accounts concurrently & strategically
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
  • Develop case studies.
  • Draft various business reports
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Taguig, PHL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of high tech sales and business development experience
  • Direct field & account management, sales experience working with enterprise accounts.
  • Would have consistently exceeded key performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • Strong technical competencies in the areas of cloud computing, SOA, web services and enterprise software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing strategic accounts and working with multiple business units and technology teams.
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in driving the adoption of new technologies and solutions preferred.
  • A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service would be preferred but not required.
