DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in building high-performance, globally scalable last mile delivery systems? Are you looking for a team where you can innovate and challenge status quo? Does the prospect of working with top engineering talent get you charged up? If so, Amazon Flex is for you!

Come help Amazon delight our customers by delivering packages faster than ever before! At Amazon, we're working to be the most Customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we’re taking to a new level is how we deliver orders. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations by ensuring orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, we deliver pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.

Amazon Flex's Compliance and Fraud Prevention team is looking for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead fraud prevention and compliance programs. You will own technology programs from ideation through launch and support multiple billion-dollar businesses. You will partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, engineers and applied scientist to deliver innovative products.

We are looking for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) professional to lead multi-year programs from concept through execution. As AmazonFlex continues to scale, we will build new processes and tools to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with laws wherever we operate. This TPM will work hand in hand with our Engineers and Product Managers to define the architecture across dev team, and to define and orchestrate work streams, timing, milestones, and communication plans. Fraud prevention and compliance programs are rife with ambiguity, and we are looking for a leader who can embrace the challenge of solving complex technical problems that require consistent iteration and schedule refinement. This leader will facilitate the development of detailed project plans and timelines, ensure technical teams are delivering to requirements, and drive leadership alignment and communication of our progress across teams.

The successful candidate will have strong Technical Program management, be highly collaborative, globally minded and have a high level of customer focus. You should be a motivated self-starter that works well with others in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. You should have excellent business, technical, and communication skills to be able to work across countries and markets, dev teams, and with business owners to define and deliver improvements.
