As a Data Scientist, you will be the point of contact for the modelization and generation of dashboards for business. The interest around R.P.A. has risen and you will support the business by developing R.P.A. programs for Benelux in close contact with group support.. On top of this, you will support the operations team with building and maintaining dashboards.

You will join a young team of 3 data scientists based in Brussels with a main objective to support with data and automatize processes for other departments from Sales to Operations.

You will report to the Sales & Operations Planning & Data Manager and act as Business Partner in Industrial Merchants Business Line within Air Liquide.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Supporting business needs:

• Responsible for data extraction and consolidation during the Pricing campaign.
• Developing Engineering tool for project reporting
• Supporting Packaged Gases Operations
• Supporting Customer service with reports around the dialing system

RPA Development :

• Support business needs ( Warehouse , Invoicing ) 
• Be the preferred point of contact of the group support team for enhancement of R.P.A. in Benelux
• Documenting robot procedures

Are you a MATCH?

Education:

• Masters’ degree of Science in Engineering (IT, civil, industrial, energy, chemistry, bio, environment ...), Business/Commercial Sciences, General Management. What really counts is your interest and your skills regarding data. 

Hard and soft skills

• Data Analytical skills: You will need to deep dive into lots of data and analytical tools to generate insights for operations and sales.
• Microsoft Power BI, Excel/ Google Sheets, Python Coding skills are a must . SAP knowledge is preferable .
• Critical thinking : You will have to be able to step back and understand the story behind the figures. 
• Team player : You will be at the heart of a dynamic organization, working closely together with members of many different departments.
• Independent : You need to have the “ can do “ mindset.
• Open Minded : Showing interest to various range of stakeholders request
• Curiosity : Eagerness to learn

Languages

• English fluency is a must have
• French/Dutch is a real plus
