We are looking for an analytical person with strong time- and priority management skills as our new Tactical Buyer

As an Tactical Buyer (TB), your main focus is to secure and assure material availability to the factories and the field at the right cost. While setting up a sustainable supply chain and optimizing orderflows.

Context

Independently manages and onboard suppliers.

Or manage more complexity for critical suppliers

Increased stakeholder management within ASML and understanding business needs and support in solving supplier issues. Translates business needs and improvements towards suppliers.

Supplier development conform strategic guidance..

Manage NPI's and transfers independently.

Provides (weekly) reports on tactical and operational performance against plans.

Works under minimal supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master diploma and/or extensive past experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Procurement

Proactively manage requisition to pay process and exceptions by master data maintanance and process standardization.

Supplier Management

Owns tactical suppliers and builds and maintains relationships with them on operational and tactical level towards long-term relationship plan. Independent for non critical, under guidance for critical suppliers.

Contract Management

Initiates and negotiates single-event contracts for non critical suppliers independently. Initiates and negotiates framework agreements and contracts e.g. framework agreement for pricing agreements, LTSA under guidance of Sourcing Leads for critical suppliers.

Supplier performance

Proactively manage actions plans to improve KPI's and defines strategy with stakeholders to achieve results with long term focus and reporting towards SAT.

Sourcing

Proactively identify and manage Sourcing activities (e.g. market investigation/tender support/tender execution) for non-critical accounts independently. Creating and implementing supplier / category strategies for own account/suppliers. For critical suppliers supporting Sourcing Lead in preparation.

Cost Accounting

Proactively create and manage analysis and translate into strategy on product portfolio active pricing management, e.g. create proposals as input for negotiations / contracts for non critical suppliers independently - adapted to market dynamics and supports Sourcing Leads with above activities for critical suppliers.

Information and Business Advice

Proactively manage SPFT updates, creates and manages account plans independently for non critical accounts.

Operational Excellence

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in department or at supplier and train/coach others on operational excellence.
