cnvrg.io (an Intel company) is building the future of AI cloud. As we continue to expand our data science team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and a proven track record of successfully delivering impactful projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, along with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Machine Learning Model Development:
• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models (LLMs, diffusion models) for production environments
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is crucial, with an emphasis on training, fine-tuning, and inference.
• Tool Proficiency:
• Utilize and be proficient with tools such as Kubeflow and ML flow to streamline the end-to-end machine learning workflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
• Optimization:
• Optimize model performance in terms of both speed and accuracy.
• Implement best practices for efficient model inference and fine-tune models for maximum efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with product managers, data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Research and Innovation:
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and data science.
• Contribute to the company's innovation initiatives through the exploration and implementation of cutting-edge techniques.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in training, fine-tuning, and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Kubeflow and MLflow.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python or R.
• Experience optimizing models for both speed and accuracy.

Advantages:

• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in optimizing machine learning models for deployment on cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with other automated machine learning (AutoML) frameworks.
