Security Architect

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect, to join our Information and Cyber Security team.

This is a position of great responsibility that will report directly to the Head of Körber Group Application Security Centre of Excellence.

The Application Security Centre of Excellence works to ensure that Körber Group products and services are created and offered in line with Cyber Security best practices and market regulations.

As a Security Architect, you will play a vital role in defining the high-level security architecture of new products in accordance with the security guidelines, internal policies and market best practices, support software architects and developers concerning security topics, and ensure that security aspects are considered during the whole development process as well as lifecycle of projects and products.

To be successful as a Security Architect, you should have expert analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of recognised market standards and best Cyber Security practices, be experienced with cloud technology, design patterns, containers, micro-services, CI/CD and DevSecOps.

Top candidates will also be excellent communicators, able to train and educate our staff in various Cyber Security topics.

Responsibilities

• Define the high-level security architecture of new products in accordance with the security guidelines and policies of Körber Group.
• Supporting software architects and developers concerning security topics.
• Ensure, that security aspects are considered during the whole development process as well as lifecycle of projects and products.
• Prepare, moderate and analyse threat modelling sessions for our products.
• Support Product Owners by defining required resources and stories to secure MVPs (Minimal Viable Products) and final products.
• Working on the improvement of the secure software development lifecycle.
• Perform regular reviews and audits of our software development lifecycle and our products.
• Experienced with cloud technology, design patterns, containers, micro-services, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Improve the security know-how of the software engineers.

Qualifications

• After a degree in computer science or comparable course of studies you gained several years of practical experience as a security architect or security expert.
• You are a proactive and structured team worker with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritize and focus while supporting multiple initiatives at the same time.
• You are skilled communicating with different, also non-technical stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• You are fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus.
• A high degree of detail-orientation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CISA, SC-100, GPEN, OSCP, …, are highly desirable
