JBT Corporation’s Automated Systems business is a leading global supplier of automated, self-guided vehicle systems to the automotive, food & beverage, hospital and consumer product manufacturing industries. With offices in the United States and Europe, we are one of the world’s leading producers of automated vehicle systems. 

This position is for an Application Cyber Security Engineer. This person will work with the Software Development team at JBT to ensure that JBT’s software application is hardened against cyber threats and attacks. This position will report to the Director of Software Engineering. 

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Overseeing and managing the audit process
• Overseeing and managing the penetration testing process
• Overseeing and executing internal test process
• Overseeing and executing Microsoft patch testing with the JBT Application
• Working with the Software Development team to include latest fixes, requirements, patches, etc.
• Improving the test process to reflect latest changes in standards as well as improve coverage of testing
• Complete customer Cyber Security documents and work with customer IT to ensure product meets the customer’s requirements
• Some travel may be required if it is necessary to meet with a customer’s IT department.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have a background in Cyber Security and must have knowledge, experience and education as follows:

• Bachelors of Science in a related field
• 3-5 years related experience
• Programming languages like C#, Java Script and Microsoft Visual Studio development tools
• Microsoft Operating System, Microsoft lifecycle, and patching process
• Best programming practices as defined by OWASP and CWE
• NIST Cyber Security Framework and associated standards as defined by NIST
• ISO 27001 knowledge a plus
