The New York Post’s print edition seeks a Copy Editor (Wednesday – Sunday, Nights/Weekends) who can write witty headlines, compose clever captions, make seamless trims and scour copy for style, clarity, spelling and grammar — all under intense deadline pressure.

Note: The schedule for this position will be Wednesday – Sunday, 4pm-12am. Saturday shift will be 2pm-10pm.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of experience in copy editing within a newsroom
  • Familiarity with AP style and knowledge of The New York Post’s style and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $31,200 – $125,000
