We are looking for a Solutions Architect Specialist with a passion for maintaining consistently high quality from pre-sales to delivery, proposing solutions to deliver business outcomes for our customers, and leading the development and release of IT products.

Leading solution proposals to customers 

• Lead the development of solutions and proposal to customers for large-scale projects based on Microsoft Strategic Partnership Agreement. Specifically, you are responsible for the following roles. 
• Work with other Microsoft departments to jointly develop Microsoft's long-term business plan for the customer. 
• Understand the outcomes expected by your stakeholders (e.g., enterprise architects, security teams, development teams, operations teams, etc.) and design and propose to customers solutions and architectures that leverage Microsoft cloud services to achieve them. You also recognize risks related to the feasibility of the solution and consider measures to avoid and mitigate them. Design and process the approach to implement the solution. 
• Define the outputs and develop an overall project schedule to ensure they can be delivered to the milestones customers expect. 
• Create a resource plan. 
• Estimate the extent to which Microsoft's cloud services will be used by the solution. 

Realize values for customers 

• After a project starts, you will lead a project team to execute the plan. In particular, you are expected to play a leading role in the design of the overall architecture. You also are responsible for the quality of a project team's output. 
• Consider countermeasures for technical issues and work together with project members to solve them. 
• Work with a project manager to drive the project forward. In particular, you are responsible for managing technical risks. 
• Work with project managers to maintain good communication with client stakeholders and control stakeholder expectations. 

Technical Leader in the Microsoft Consulting Team 

• Share pre-defined consulting solutions (offerings) and best consulting success stories with other departments in Microsoft and create opportunities to promote the value proposition of Microsoft Consulting Services to customers. 
• Plan and lead initiative activities aimed at improving technical skills or developing solutions in the Japan consulting team. 
• Join global Architect communities to gather and share information on best practices and international solutions with the Japan team.

• マイクロソフトの戦略的パートナーシップ協業にもとづく大規模案件において、ソリューション開発とお客様への提案をリードします。具体的には以下の役割を担います。 
• マイクロソフト社内の他部門と協調して、当該お客様に対するマイクロソフトの長期的なビジネスプランを共同で作成します。 
• お客様の利害関係者 (エンタープライズ アーキテクト、セキュリティ チーム、開発チーム、運用チームなど) が期待する成果を把握します。 
• それらを実現するためのソリューションおよびマイクロソフトクラウドサービスを活用したアーキテクチャをデザインしてお客様に提案します。また、ソリューションの実現性に関するリスクを認識して、それらを回避、軽減するための方策を検討します。 
• ソリューションを導入するアプローチを設計して工程化します。次に、アウトプットを定義してそれらがお客様の期待するマイルストーンに提供できるように全体のプロジェクトスケジュールを策定します。 
• 最後にリソース計画を作成します。 
• 当該ソリューションによってマイクロソフトのクラウドサービスがどの程度利用されるかを試算します。 

お客様にとっての価値の実現 

• プロジェクト開始後は、コンサルティングチームをリードして計画を実行します。特に全体アーキテクチャの設計においては主導的な役割を果たします。また、コンサルティングチームのアウトプットの品質に責任を持ちます。 
• テクニカルな課題に対する対応策を検討して、プロジェクトメンバーとともに解決にあたります。 
• プロジェクトマネージャーと協力して、プロジェクトを推進します。特にテクニカルリスクの管理に関してはソリューションアーキテクトが責任を持ちます。 
• プロジェクトマネージャーと協力して、お客様ステークホルダーとの良好なコミュニケーションを維持するとともに、ステークホルダーの期待値をコントロールします。 

チーム内におけるテクニカルリーダー 

• コンサルティング部門が提供可能なソリューション（オファリング）やコンサルティング成功事例をマイクロソフト社内のソリューション営業部門に共有して、コンサルティングサービスのバリュープロポジションをお客様の訴求する機会を創出します。 
• 日本のコンサルティングチームの中でテクニカルスキル向上あるいはソリューション開発を目的したイニシアティブ活動を企画して、その活動をリードします。 
• 海外のアーキテクトコミュニティに参加し、成功事例や海外発のソリューションに関する情報を収集して国内のチームに共有します。 

Required 

• More than 15 years of project experience in technical solutions and architecture design 
• More than 5 years of project experience in technical solutions and architecture design using cloud services 
• Understanding of Data Analytics and AI solutions and project experience with them 
• Experience in architecture design using Azure Services data/AI services (Synapse, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI Services, etc.) or third-party services with equivalent functions 
• Understanding of LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or experience designing applications using them 
• Understanding of DevOps, DataOps or MLOps processes 
• Basic understanding of cloud service infrastructure and security 
• Experience in account management 
• Experience in proposing consulting projects or system integration projects 
• Experience in creating project execution plans 
• Experience in stakeholder management in projects 
• Experience with English projects or strong business English proficiency
