Position Summary

Under general supervision of Managing Editor, Content Creation Manager, or UX/UI Manager, respond to in-bound requests, make changes and updates to content, work with internal stakeholders across multiple departments. Update digital content and/or interface design across CNM.edu and related properties to ensure accurate, attractive, consistent and high-level communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with respect to both service-based and marketing-based content.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the administrative functions of the College’s content management system (CMS) for CNM.edu, Plone, as well as working within WordPress for CNM Ingenuity. This includes overseeing and improving site architecture, file management, content management, as well as performing and troubleshooting various technical tasks related to a CMS.
  • Works with site governance tools to improve CNM’s websites. This includes SEO, quality assurance, accessibility, and analytics tools.
  • Reviews, edits, and develops content with various College departments, ensuring delivery of high-quality material to CNM.edu and CNM Ingenuity sites
  • Proactively seeks out areas of our websites to improve upon
  • Maintains a constant watch on College activities, deadlines, news and other items of information to update our sites with regularly
  • Meets with other departments and vendors
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with a variety of CNM staff and faculty
  • Other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

AND

  • Two (2) years of experience in web content development, editing, design and management.

OR

  • Associate Degree and four (4) years experience

OR

  • Professional Certificate and six (6) years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an editorial capacity
  • At least 2 years of experience with website administration/governance
