We are looking for a Senior Accountant with complex knowledge of all bookkeeping processes and 4+ years of accounting experience, preferred in companies with international transactions knowledge, skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the PwC accounting and tax compliance team, you will be engaged in:
- Supervision and coordination of work of junior colleagues, delegation and review of work performed, providing feedback.
- Review the accounting data base for months/quarters/year closing.
- Preparation of Financial Statements, VAT and CPT returns.
- Preparation of reports / memorandums and emails in English and Ukrainian within corporate income tax review projects.
- Comprehensive analysis of applicable provisions of the Tax Code of Ukraine.
- Assistance to Manager in dealing with day-to-day accounting and tax support of our clients.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economic, Tax, Audit and Accounting sphere.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Ukrainian accounting and taxation practices, including CPT and VAT regulations. Experience with IFRS working is a plus.
- Possess 4+ years of experience as a Chief/Senior Accountant, preferably in accounting outsourcing companies.
- Good knowledge of English and Ukrainian: both written and verbal.
- IT literacy (MS Word, Excel), good knowledge of Excel is a plus.
- Demonstrated responsibility, attention to detail, and good analytical skills.
- Fine interpersonal and communication skills, organisational and planning capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility and learn from others in a multi-tasking environment.
