You have:

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field 
  • At least 5-10+ years of hands-on application development utilizing Angular, with experience with modern UI/UX design and implementation
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an agile team using Agile tools such as Jira
  • Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns and Git version control
  • Experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages
  • DevOps practices, Test automation, BDD / TDD 

Desired Skills

  • Linux OS, Scripting, Python experience
  • Experience with Analytical and BI tools like DataIku, Tableau, Zeppelin, and Jupyter
  • Experience with Data Processing tools, ETL, data lineage and quality
  • Experience with Data Processing tools, ETL, data lineage and quality
  • Experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
  • Experience with Analytics, Statistics, data visualization

Qualifications

You'll do:

  • Estimation & end to end execution of required changes, coordination with stakeholders as required
  • Responsible for the design, development, maintenance and support of key applications or frameworks
  • Translate high-level business requirements on multiple, complex requests into detailed functional, technical, and/or system specifications
  • Test software designs and solutions (including unit testing and integrated testing)
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for applications
  • Support and respond to user queries or issues; determine the root cause and best resolution of escalated issues
  • Work with data providers to communicate and define any data (including data quality) and reporting requirements

Non-Financial Risk Technology (NFRT) provides operational controls and surveillance capabilities to enhance the firm’s resilience to threats and fraudulent behavior. Our support of critical business functions extends to archival & records management, business continuity planning and due diligence investigations. 

This role is part of the Sustainable Finance and Resilience Technology Department, within NFRT. The Squad focusses on solutions for Global Sustainability Finance and is responsible for leveraging technical capabilities strategically and effectively to facilitate solutions for our GSF clients that will also include aligning with Firm’s strategic priorities of cloud readiness, DevOps, platform reliability and automation. 

You will be responsible for hands-on development, primarily in Angular across all phases of the software development lifecycle and assisting the Product Owner and Squad in product delivery. The ideal candidate should have the skills listed below but in addition should be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions, propose solutions and leverage the skills and expertise of those around them.
