JOB SUMMARY:

Primary responsibility for developing and overseeing the architectural production activities within the zone and provides an introduction to project management. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direction, management and ownership of all drafting activity for assigned architectural projects.
• Responsible for Quality control on assigned projects.
• Support training and development of direct reports.
• Understand and support other functional areas of PulteGroup.
• Manage drawings in Pultegroup CAD systems.
• Utilize common tool sets as defined within PulteGroup.
• Perform additional job functions as assigned by Supervisor.
• Ensure development of compliant working drawings within the zone from both internal and external resources.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES LEVEL: MENTOR / COACH / FEEDBACK 

• Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs
• Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent
• Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills
• Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance
• Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
• Creates opportunities for employee growth
• Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)
