Overview

Evolver is looking for a Production-Application Support Manager. 

The Production-Application Support Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating Infrastructure and business projects from a technology perspective, ensuring that infrastructure development activities are consistent with client’s internal best practices and standards. The candidate will also be an escalation point of contact for application support issues, and is required to be able to handle challenging issues related to supporting various applications and systems. You will support our Investment Management client based in San Francisco. Excellent collaboration with internal teams, vendors and driving resolution.

Location: Onsite in the Bay Area, San Francisco or San Ramon

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for the efficient resolution of IT infrastructure related incidents, service requests and update service desk management systems accordingly.
• Develop and maintain documentation process of ongoing operations and administration of infrastructure and application run books.
• Serve as a liaison between infrastructure operations and the vendors to address performance issues or problem analysis and see them through to resolution
• Coordinate performance analysis, recommendations, and improvements for both infrastructure and applications
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and corporate policies.
• Responsible for responding to application support escalations which involve troubleshooting technical issues and resolving data/configuration issues
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams across disparate groups to resolve end user issues.
• Collaborate with peers on complex projects as required (e.g. office and data center projects, application upgrades, etc.)
• Create/maintain documentation for operational procedures as required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)

• Bachelor’s Degree required or consider years of experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with application support and deployments.
• 4 + years of experience with the following:
• Production support
• Azure – hybrid, on/off prem cloud services, will consider experience with AWS or Google as alternative
• Site resilience engineer
• Dynatrace Monitoring (observability tool)
• Investment Management, Brokerage, Asset Management or will consider Financial Services
• Hands-on with service ticket management systems (ServiceNow, ConnectWise, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, Argent, etc…)
• Experience in writing scripts (Powershell, javascript, etc.) and SQL queries (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and planning tools
• Microsoft .net development experience
• Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle experience
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Experience with Configuration Management and DevOps tools
• Strong organizational, documentation, metric and trend analysis reporting skills and desire for continuous process improvements

Actual salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, market and work location. Evolver offers benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.

The annual salary range for this position in San Francisco Bay Area is between: $140,000—$170,000 USD.
