Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Define and execute application-relevant measurements, evaluations and validations in the customer application;
  • Actively support internal feasibility studies at system level;
  • Develop tasks for benchmarking and product performance in the system and perform analysis of competitor products;
  • Drive the development of applications and evaluation tools (hardware and software) and coordinate activities for 3rd party tools and services;
  • Analyze customer feedback on product performance and limitations, consolidate suggestions for improvements and bring them into the organization in a structured way;
  • Support the creation of "Design-In Material" for the market launch of products;
  • Create and maintain technical customer documentation (app notes, user manuals, etc...);
  • Prepare technical trainings intended for internal and external sales partners and customers;
  • Cooperate in failure analysis and customer return investigations.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical role as an electronic circuit design, validation or application engineer;
  • Experience with gate driver applications for DC and BLDC motors and with microcontrollers for automotive applications is a plus;
  • Knowledge of electronic laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.);
  • Good programming skills (C/C++, Matlab, Visual Basic, Python);
  • Solid expertise in PCB design and layout – prior experience with Altium is a plus;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Ability to work collaborative in a team and to provide guidance based on your expertise.
