Corporate Information Security is a global team dedicated to information security governance, risk management, security assurance & consulting and customer security competency across Software AG. The key objective of this position is to provide our customers with transparency of our security control environment in support of winning new opportunities and meeting customer compliance needs.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with Software AG corporate departments and provide answers to security and compliance questionnaires;
• Participate in customer meetings with Software AG sales team to address customer compliance concerns;
• Review of security and privacy compliance aspects of Customer contracts and inquiries;
• Develop systematic approach to ensure scaling of the Information Security response process;
• Ongoing review and enhancements to the security RFI/RFQ database and security marketing assets;

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems;
• 3 years of experience in information security and technology projects and proven ability to deliver on stated objectives and timeframe;
• Knowledge of industry security standards ISO/IESC 27001/17/18, SOC 2 and CSA;
• Security Industry certificates such as CCSK;
• Proactive, structured and detail oriented work style;
• Outstanding oral and written English communication skills (Basic German is a great plus);
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
