Job Description

A day in the life of a Lead Java Software Engineer

As a Lead Java Software Engineer, you will act as a Technical Lead of a high-performing, cross-functional and Agile team responsible for building digital transformation projects in the Public Domain (next-gen). 

Your main duties will be to: 

• Lead and mentor a group of SW Engineers
• Design, develop and maintain back-end of large web-based Java EE applications
• Work on the client-side with JSF, PrimeFaces and Javascript technologies. 
• Participate in the technical analysis, documentation, implementation, and integration
• Test and manage early life support of core software tools and assets produced in the context of software development projects

Qualifications

If you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in
• JEE applications
• PrimeFaces or Javascript
• SQL
• RESTful and SOAP web-services
• Team Leading
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills, adaptability and team spirit
• Fluency in English

It would also be a plus if you had :

• Experience in Spring/Spring boot
• Familiarity with JBPM and Drools
• Experience in JPA or Hibernate
• Experience in Oracle Products
