Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the duties and responsibilities of day to day operations of the Completion & Liner Hanger through the coordination of equipment and personnel. Assist Operations Manager in daily activity.

  • Contacting the contractors and other personnel needed and ensuring they are on-site at an appropriate time to avoid delay.
  • Actively monitor the workshop progress on daily basis and ensure the activities are performed safely and as per procedures.
  • Preparing a daily report of operation and submitting it to the senior drilling completion rig supervisor.
  • Responsible for all factory acceptance testing to ensure that equipment is fit for usage before being shipped to the site.
  • Discover and promote new technologies for performance enhancement.
  • Managing personnel and equipment at the rig site.
  • Detecting and resolving any difficulty that threatens early execution.
  • Engage and lead in coordination with engineering team in terms of any technical support required for Customer or personnels in Rig/Workshop.
  • Ensure efficient and secure Completion operations in adherence to the equipment specifications and company procedures.
  • Monitors the complete optimization of a equipment’s using optimum practices.
  • Ensures that all completion operations are done in accordance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) and PSRP procedures.
  • Monitor the usage rate of materials at the rig site and workshops and report any need for restocking.
  • Report any significant problem, change or accident to the senior supervisor.
  • Collaborate directly with suppliers to determine when equipment is ready for transportation to the site.
  • Participates in all work-related training and also trains junior members.
  • Ensures that all operations are properly understood before being commenced.
  • Conduct Daily operations meeting with the whole team and prepare action plans for every day.
  • Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
  • Communicate with sales force in securing customer requirements and time frames.
  • Responsible for timely Job tickets, utilisation sheets and other documents required for accrual of the revenue on monthly basis and submit the to Job Coordinator.
  • Manage personnels MCU, trainings and resume updates with customers and address the qualification issues, if any.
  • Prepare qoutes for existing contracts, if required.
  • Generate internal Purchase orders.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ Years of relevant work experience including 3 - 5 years supervisory experience
  • Solid knowledge in Liner Hanger & Completions Supervisory or Coordination role
  • Graduated in any Engineering Degree
  • Good experience in field & workshop operation.
