Overview

Builds market position by locating, developing, negotiating, and closing new bank referral relationships. Drives effective execution of bank programs by the Field Sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a structured prospecting plan targeting the 7,000+ US financial institutions in order to develop new referral relationships and increase sales volume from the channel.
  • Drives Field Sales execution of the company’s bank referral partnerships to increase channel productivity by: - Developing and then working with Sales Management to implement standard bank calling routines for sales reps. - Developing and then working with Sales Management to implement reporting and accountability routines for use by sales managers in managing rep calling activity. - Coaching sales managers in effective partnering and sales rep management routines relating to banks.
  • Develops and implements communication strategies to produce effective communication of program information, including results, expectations, promotions/campaigns, and policies and procedures to the Field Sales organization to ensure effective execution of the programs.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to develop and implement marketing programs and promotions in coordination with bank partners to maximize product line visibility within bank referral distribution channels.
  • Acts as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for the Field Sales organization regarding bank channel matters to provide consistent information on the channel.
  • Participates, as required, in the ongoing management of existing bank relationships to support business growth.
  • Meets or exceeds sales/revenue objectives of the channel through new client growth or increased revenue from existing clients to support overall company growth goals.
  • Creates business development strategies for long term and strategic business objectives for the purpose of creating long term relationships with all bank relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing - Preferred
  • Project Management or Project Lead experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Sales Leadership experience.
  • 7 years of experience in Sales of payroll or employee benefits products.
