The region employs over 1800 employees and has a long history in the Asian Pacific and African markets, focusing on develop crop nutrition concepts that increase food production and create value to the growers, in particular smallholder farmers, whilst minimizing environmental impact of agricultural activities.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

  • Create, implement and maintain QA framework (including internal audits) of Yara Thailand operations in compliance with Thailand regulations and Yara standards
  • Impact daily operations by engaging in related improvement activities such as process standardization, transformation etc. requiring a deeper understanding of the business
  • Track, develop and maintain QA data and processes
  • Preparation, review and maintenance of HOPS assessments, guidelines, and internal procedures
  • Handle complaints, perform root cause analysis and proactively take mitigation actions
  • Communication with commercial, production and expert functions globally
  • Train and support employees in QA related matters
  • Administration and monitoring of incident reporting in Synergi Life
  • Establish, implement and maintain ISO 9001 / ISO45001 / ISO14001/ IFA Protect & Sustain program
  • Coordinate management review activities/action plans
  • Provide support for ISO Certification and surveillance audits, preparation, and follow-up activities
  • Control Document of Quality system, Environment, Safety system and IFA Protect & Sustain program by receive, distribute a document and also dispose & maintain the obsolete document
  • Act as Yara (Thailand) Limited’s Data Protection Officer under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), to perform the roles of providing advice on data privacy, investigating the performance of Yara (Thailand) Limited and its processors with respect to processing personal data in compliance with the PDPA, and liaising/coordinating with the Personal Data Protection Office in Thailand if there is an issue or investigation
  • Implementing the company’s Data Protection Policies and Procedures, and ensuring it is adhered to throughout the organisation
  • Creating guidelines and routines for all members of staff, and checking that they’re resolutely followed
  • Organising training courses for relevant employees, whether in-house or at external locations
  • Mentoring and monitoring the company’s Data Processors, and developing talented individuals within the team 
  • Providing information when necessary to senior management, often involving highly sensitive data
  • Making sure all data is up to date, and that policies involving destruction of data are followed
  • Coordinating the updates of Yara (Thailand) Limited’s Records of Processing Activities, and participating in all compliance activities as organized by the global Data Privacy Team and Regional Data Privacy Coordinator

Profile

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of quality related process experience in similar environment
  • Work experience with ISO certification and LEAN methodology would be an advantage
  • Comprehensive knowledge about Yara business model

Additional Information

Other requirements

  • Experience with change management in a business environment
  • Fluent in English & Thai 
  • Able to travel occasionally, driving license required
