Job Overview:

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities 

  • Identify Test strategy and document strategy, test plans
  • Create manual/automated test scripts by leveraging requirements documentations, wireframes, and comps.
  • Define Automation strategy and document automation solution and approach
  • Participate in standing team meetings
  • Contribute to weekly status reports, interact with clients and vendors as needed
  • Troubleshoot and track defects
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities
  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards.
  • Assists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project team.
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met
  • Coordinate with multiple teams and drive QA activities

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of software testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing test automation frameworks
  • STRONG Automation experience using Selenium, and writing automation scripts in Java, TestNG, BDD framework
  • Experience with Web Services automation tools using Postman and Rest Assured
  • Strong Informatica knowledge, and ETL testing 
  • Strong SQL skills 
  • Experience with Version control like Git, BitBucket
  • Experience with continuous testing tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins
  • Working knowledge in Python
  • Familiar with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool
  • Ability to read code and participate in code reviews
  • Knowledge of the technical stack in an n-tier application and the ability to identify different types of testing that can be applied in each tier
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and technical design documents
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred skills and education:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience working in the consulting industry
  • Understanding of complex Internet based enterprise level applications
  • Track record of delivering on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments
