Senior Software Engineer

Remote – PHL mid shift / graveyard shift

Position Summary: 

Senior Software Engineer provides solutions to technical challenges facing the development of digital products or solutions. They focus on building end-to-end scalable solutions (web applications, automation, and application integration) depending on the client's requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Understand business requirements, check the feasibility of requirements, and give a detailed estimate.
• Plan, manage and execute pilots, evaluations and Proof of Concepts
• Design, develop, and implement web applications, automation solutions, and application integration.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the architecture team to streamline deployments.
• Complete and ensure completion of technical documentations (solutions design document, technical design document, testing matrix, user’s manual, troubleshooting guide, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement of the implemented solutions.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent – advanced degree a plus
• At least 3 years’ experience in web development, automation, and application integration. 
• Exhibit expertise in software development methodologies.
• Advanced level programming, architecture design, and troubleshooting skills of a Web application in C#, Python, Java or GoLang.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. , JavaScript, ES6+, React, Typescript)
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language)
• High level understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) computing architecture and practices.
• Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.
• Work independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
• A good understanding of version control, branching
• Exposure in GenerativeAI (Azure OpenAI, Google Enterprise Search) is desired.
