The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska includes over 100 IT specialists. The financial services industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressures, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we provide innovative technological solutions, data analytics and consulting services for global PwC clients, responding to key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and implementation of financial sanctions, etc.).

Our Technology Team in Financial Crime Unit in Poland delivers innovative technology solutions, data analytics and consulting services to global PwC clients, addressing key challenges in the Anti Financial Crime area (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and Financial Sanctions implementation etc.).

We are looking for:

C# Developer in Technology Team, Financial Crime Unit

Your future role:

• design, develop and implement IT solutions (systems, apps, data analytics models) that parallel Client’s business challenges in Anti Financial Crime area,
• work on Client projects together with other team members to develop solutions for complex issues in the AML/CTF/Sanctions area,
• work on internal initiatives developing new value propositions for our Clients,
• optimize developed tools and implement adjustments according to stakeholders requirements,
• work on Client projects together with other team members to develop solutions for process improvements,
• keep up with the latest Technology and Financial Crime trends,
• connect with the PwC network and share knowledge.

Apply if you:

• have minimum 3 years of previous experience in developing web services - .NET Web API,
• have master’s degree in Computer Science or technology-related field,
• are familiar with database technologies (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server),
• have strong Object-Oriented design and development experience,
• are familiar with ORM literacy (EF Core),
• have knowledge of design pattern and their practical use,
• have experience with microservices,
• are experience in developing unit and integration tests,
• are experienced with SCRUM Methodology,
• have strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationship,
• have excellent problem solving and decision making skills,
• speak English fluently,
• are able to work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.

Nice to have:

• experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure,
• knowledge of RabbitMQ queues,
• knowledge of .Net Core.
