Sentara Health Plan is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst - Operations.

This is a Full-Time position, fully remote, with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job Responsibilities

  • Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups.
  • Eliciting requirements for customers and groups
  • Review of understanding of EDI 834 transactions
  • Identifying and addressing operational, and technological risks within the business.
  • Maintaining, testing and improving business and systems operations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on process improvement opportunities.
  • Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
  • Creating data flow diagrams and process maps
  • Supervising the design of new products and evaluating how these will benefit customer satisfaction
  • Creating monthly performance reports utilizing Tableau, Excel, or analytic tools

Job Requirements:

  • Required to have a Bachelor's Level Degree.
  • Required to have 3 years of related work experience.
  • Required to have experience with Visio.
  • Required to have experience with MS Excel.
  • Required to have experience with SQL.
  • Required to have experience with Tableau.
  • Required to have experience with MS Project.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas. Provides subject matter expertise related to quality initiative implementation, reporting and analysis. Is a liaison between internal/external customers and Information Technology for business definition, scope, testing and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices. Possesses a high degree of operational knowledge as it relates to customer operations in claims, system administration, expansion business, and member enrollment.

Related experience will be in one of the following areas, operations, IT, or reporting.

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
