Basic Requirements for all:

  • You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement except CTI but other languages are a plus)
  • You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)

Customer Culinary Excellence (February)

Join the INZ Consumer & Culinary Experience R&D team in Nijmegen in strengthening our Sensory and Consumer Experience methodologies. You will be working with our Consumer Culinary Experience Excellence manager in identifying, comparing and experimenting with new ways to incorporate AI tools to speed up the process of generating and evaluating new Innovation which will help to also improve our agility in the way we develop consumer purpose-led products

  • You will not only explore AI tools but also lead pilot for execution as a proof of principle and develop best practices to ensure the tools are ready to be used within the Consumer & Culinary Experience teams in the International BUs.
  • The Best Practice will guarantee standardization on ways of working within the International
  • Help to ensure a stronger chance for our products to be successful on the market.

Specific Team Requirements:

  • Master student with classes on web design and data analysis
  • AI knowledge is crucial
  • Data analysis and statistics knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with market design research and CTI is preferred
  • You are an independent team worker with a scientific mindset.

Customer Technical Insights (February)

Join the INZ CTI/CX R&D team in Nijmegen in developing our Benchmarking program. You will be working with a team of consumer scientists, scoping, investigating and implementing our benchmarking program within the international zone.

Assignments and key activities:

  • During the internship you will identify, develop, and implement implicit methodologies to understand how consumers perceive and experience sauces from an emotional standpoint.
  • You will connect your data with our sensory and product database to understand the connection between product characteristics and consumer’s emotion.
  • You will apply your research to one of our iconic sauce portfolios to provide guidelines for developers to successfully translate emotional briefs into products.
  • In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop new CX research best-practice for Kraft Heinz based on your experience.

Specific Team Requirements:

  • Food Science Master student with classes on Sensory and Consumer Research or Psychology and Neuroscience Master.
  • Affinity with statistics and data analysis
  • Knowledge on consumer research
  • Fluent in communication in English
  • Previous projects in sensory and consumer research is preferred
  • Previous internship in CTI/ CX area is a plus
  • You are an independent team worker with a scientific mindset.

Culinary (February)

Join the INZ Culinary R&D team in Nijmegen in exploring and discovering new unforgettable taste for our Taste Elevation category (sauces) and Meals category. You will be working with a team of R&D chefs, exploring new tastes, techniques or technologies that should deliver the KH innovations of the future. 

Assignments and key activities:

  • During the internship you will focus on specific technique/technology(ies) (TBD) to understand the impact of the technology on our products, its added value and challenges as well as its versatility.
  • The overall outcome should be about delivering insights on the performance of the technology as well as the value proposition it can deliver to our consumer going forward.
  • The project will also look at the technology in a context of Value Engineering, delivering more for the consumers as well as for KH.

Specific Team Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master student in Culinary or Chef with classes on food design or food innovation
  • Interested in fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • Culinary skills are prerequisite
  • Experience in a restaurant is a plus
  • You can communicate fluently in English, are creative and can work independently and in a team.
