The Position

We are seeking an outstanding UK Sales Lead & Global Sales Manager to lead our Global Sales Team, a crucial part of HBK. In this role, you will take ownership of various aspects of our sales operations and business relationships with our key customers. This position offers an array of experiences and opportunities, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development: Spearhead the development, establishment, and support of sales to key customers in the Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, and Public Authorities sectors.
  • Sales Force Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the sales force in the promotion and sale of our solutions and services.
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Take charge of sales planning, forecasting, and the professional development of the sales team, particularly in value-based selling and strategic sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the overall relationship with customers, working closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • High-Level Networking: Cultivate and maintain a high-level contact network to position our company effectively for business development.
  • Achieve Targets: Ensure the achievement of booking and revenue targets.

As a Global Sales Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with the Global Sales team, fostering strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Foster and nurture relationships at all levels within key customer organizations.
  • Coordinate project implementation and ongoing activities, both internally with all departments and externally.
  • Take ownership of customer needs and project management.
  • Plan and execute all commercial activities in collaboration with the team.
  • Discuss and implement new product introductions with customers.
  • Ensure your team possesses the necessary skills or facilitate their development.

Qualifications and Expectations:

To excel in the role of Sales Manager, we are seeking candidates with the following profile:

  • A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and business experience.
  • A strong understanding of the Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, or Public Authorities market segments.
  • Knowledge of Sound & Vibration technologies and challenges or Testing instrumentation would be a valuable asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or a successful track record in senior-level sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated team management skills in an international context and the ability to handle multitasking activities.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and inspiring behaviour.
  • Fluency in English (proficiency in one additional European language is appreciated).
  • A knack for developing and maintaining internal and external networks with a problem-solving mindset.
  • The ability to anticipate, identify priorities, and manage activities accordingly.
  • A persistent attitude, unwavering commitment to goal achievement in all circumstances.
