FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a comprehensive college offering 60 associate and bachelor’s degree programs in downtown Brooklyn.

The Humanities Department seeks instructors for American Sign Language, History of Western Art: Renaissance to Modern, History of Graphic Design, Public Speaking, Health Communication, and multiple upper-level courses required for the Health Communication major for the Spring 2024 and/or Fall 2024 semesters.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor:

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Lecturer, a master’s degree is preferred.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience within the same discipline in both online and in-person modalities.

COMPENSATION

Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67/hr

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100/hr
