We have an immediate opening for a Vendor Manager in our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, and possess strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish, manage and maintain good relations with vendors to ensure quality standards and deliverables are met
  • Create and maintain vendor management policies, maintain vendor management files
  • Review all proposals, execute and renew vendor contracts, manage vendor negotiations
  • Calculate, review and approve allocations
  • Oversee budgets and invoice payment processing
  • Implement cost analysis to ensure accurate calculations
  • Oversee risk management to ensure vendor compliance with company, FINRA and SEC standards
  • Research, source, analyze, and onboard vendors
  • Set and monitor performance standards for existing and future vendors
  • Develop strategies to improve service quality of vendors
  • Perform standard and custom reporting, as well as monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Support Purchasing department with ordering of supplies and allocations
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • 7+ years of experience in vendor management, supply chain management, or related field
  • Financial or securities industry experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize many concurrent tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Highly meticulous, detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills

What Wedbush Offers You

Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The hiring salary range for this role is $81,000-107,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
