Sr. Manager, Network Edge Security Engineering - Remote

You will manage a highly experienced team of technical engineers that focus on all aspects relating to the Network Security infrastructure supporting TTEC’s global presence, including Architecture, Design, Implementations and Operational support.

You'll report to Executive Director of Network Engineering. You will make an impact in leading a team with innovative technology. 

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Managing the ongoing support and configuration of all elements of the company’s Security Infrastructure, including firewalls, IPS, web proxies and VPN devices
• Optimizing the performance and availability of security network and end-user infrastructures through the application of best practices such as performance monitoring, capacity planning and trend analysis and recommends improved methodologies
• Providing leadership for the architecture, engineering, deployment, and support of the security network infrastructure
• Monitoring vendor interaction with company’s technology; identifies issues and provides guidance/support through to resolution. Ensures the timely delivery of required services. Maintains liaison with equipment manufacturers' and other vendors' representatives to ensure satisfactory support levels
• Assisting in the development and implementation of company’s technology strategy, including goals, priorities and policies relating to company’s information and communications management
• Recommending overall strategy for the planning, use and coordination of networking technology and services including the evaluation of current and proposed systems

What You Bring to the Role

• Requires a minimum of 8-10 years security engineering and operations experience, with a minimum of 3 years management experience with a global corporation, international business units
• Solid multi-site Security Architecture and Engineering skills required
• Advanced working knowledge and implementation skills of Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, SourceFire, Bluecoat and IPSec/SSL VPN devices and associated technologies
• Strong experience in network technologies, both LAN and WAN, including VOIP
• Advance knowledge of Security logging and reporting systems
• Skills in developing security/network policies, procedures and documentation required
• Proven skills in managing a Security Engineering team with a group of highly skill technical employees required with effective oral, written and communication skills are required

The anticipated annual range is $150,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
