General Responsibilities:

  • Retention of renewal business and develop strategies to win new business.
  • Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.
  • Disbursement and tracking of submissions to the market place.
  • Rate policies and complete applications and other required documentation.
  • Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems arise.
  • Attend Marketing/Commercial Lines Team meetings, including meetings conducted via conference call.
  • Transition bound accounts to the respective account management teams.
  • Prepare proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers/account executives.
  • Document all marketing activity in the agency management systems.
  • Prepare invoices and required documentation to bind accounts.
  • Manage carrier production reports and contingencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-20 Property and Casualty license required
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of AMS360 and ImageRight preferred
