Responsibilities/What You’ll Do:

• Build, test and deploy complex mission-critical infrastructure services on cloud and/or on-prem.
• Setup fault tolerant multi-region environments for critical services .
• Support and improve the Kubernetes platform and application deployments in Cloud and OnPrem.
• Build, automate & deploy CI/CD pipelines for apps and data projects.
• Work on High Impact projects that improve availability, scalability, reliability of our platforms.
• Automate, deploy and operate data platforms
• Implement solutions to monitor all aspects of data platforms and services. 
• Troubleshoot and address operational issues as they come up
• Support and improve the build, delivery, and deployment pipeline of software developed in Java, Scala and Python
• Manage and deploy distributed infrastructure/applications in OnPrem and Azure/AWS/GCP clouds
• Maintain infrastructure provisioning & configuration management tools

Qualifications/Your Background:

• BS in Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in building and maintaining distributed services like Kafka,flink in Kubernetes on cloud and/or on-prem.
• Experience in managing production Kubernetes platform 
• Experience in Infrastructure Provisioning tools like terraform and packer
• Experience with git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Argo CD
• Experience in orchestration/configuration management tools like Chef/Ansible
• Excellent debugging skills in a Linux environment
• Experience with any telemetry system, monitoring and alert handling
• Experience with monitoring applications on cloud and/or on-prem using Prometheus, Grafana or other similar such tools.
• Experience in at least one of the cloud provider Azure/AWS/GCP 
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues

Bonus points:

• Experience operating Kubernetes on-premise at scale in capacities including SRE, systems design or architecture
• Providing guidance and building platforms across multiple zones and regions as foundation for other teams to build distributed highly-available applications
• Experience with any telemetry systems and metrics collection. E.g: Prometheus
• Coding experience beyond simple scripts. Ability to program with one or more high level language (Python/Java/Ruby/Go)
