Your Job

• Molex is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to conduct our New product development (NPD) Sourcing for the Consumer & Commercial Solutions (CCS) division, to enhance sourcing capability and increase competitiveness of new products, to promote cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of innovation providing value to the business, and a pioneer in setting up CCS division NPD sourcing footprint in EU.

You will be mostly supporting Molex CCS greenfield plant localized at Siemianowice Śląskie in close cooperation with key project stakeholders localized in Singapore.

Our Team

Our team: Global & Regional Procurement teams: Category, Supplier base management, SQE etc., external partners, suppliers, subcontractors etc.

& Project stakeholders (R&D, PM, Engineering and Quality etc.,) from BU and Operation teams at multi-nation locations, in Singapore especially.

What You Will Do

• Support to apply appropriate category strategies (Metals, Plastics, Electronics, and Outsourcing etc.) to new product sourcing needs
• Conducting new product development from sourcing and achieving successful launch
• Create technical RFQ and process quote gathering
• Promoting PBM (Principle Based Management) culture and Molex branding in the long run

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Proven experience in New Products Development Sourcing or Engineering
• Procurement expertise in categories: stamping (busbars), plastics, FPC (flexible printed circuit)
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization as well as deliver oral presentations on moderately complex subject matter
• Demonstrated experience driving cross functional collaboration across business units and geographies
• Fluent in both English and Polish

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience of new product development or sourcing on BMS (Battery Management System) or similarly complex product is a big plus.
• Good supplier networking that enables quickly identifying and on-boarding external capabilities.
• Process knowledge and costing awareness, of molding, stamping, plating, machining, PCB and assy etc.
