Role Description

The person on this role will join a team of professionals and work as Software quality assurance engineer of key clients within the company. They will work in an Agile environment in collaboration with our Dev teams and ensure the quality of the final product by preparing and executing test plans, identifying and analyzing information regarding testing requirements, and support knowledge management.

Primary responsibilities

• Executes functional and non-functional manual and regression test cases, creates scenarios and checklists, and prepares test data
• Participates in development and execution of automation tests
• Participates actively as a member of Agile development team working with product owner and wider development teams to sustain the overall quality of the product
• Defines, identifies, collects, and organizes detailed information relating to testing requirements
• Interacts with the Product team to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria
• Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Skills required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Testing & Software Quality Assurance, at least 1 of which in automation testing
• Solid knowledge and experience in QA processes and Software development lifecycle
• Experience in reading specifications and preparing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in executing manual and automated tests according to functional specifications, reporting and processing defects
• Experience in analyzing customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions
• Hands-on experience with different bug tracking and test management systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, TestRail, Test Link, HP ALM, ALM Octane or similar)
• Experience with at least one of the test automation frameworks (Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cypress)
• Experience with API/ RESTful web services testing
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with DB platforms
• Fluent English - written and spoken; second foreign language is an advantage

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of OOP and its principles
• Hands-on experience in using version control tools (Git/GitHub and SVN)
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI tool
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) project
• ISTQB FL Certification
