Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Operations Support Engineer to become a member of the Operations Support Department, working as part of an integrated and globally disperse team. The position requires a flexible work schedule driven by system and operational requirements and is located at a field site in Alice Springs, AU.
This role requires a two (2) year commitment and the ability to successfully pass a physical and psychological exam. Ability to work odd and/or extended hours covering a 24/7 period and periodic 12-hour shifts. A comprehensive overseas compensation package is offered with this position including relocation assistance.
Role Description:
The Principal / Sr. Principal Operations Support Engineers (OSE) perform and oversee operational systems analysis, monitor daily and seasonal mission data trending and operational product improvements. They lead real-time anomaly resolution and recovery activities. OSEs perform a diverse set of tasks in support of real-time operations and operations development: A Senior Principal OSE's regular duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Salary Range: $95,100.00 - $142,700.00Salary Range 2: $117,900.00 - $176,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
