The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) has prioritized geriatric behavioral health as a key organizational mission area. Thus, the RNI’s Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is seeking a proven leader in Geriatric Psychiatry to serve as Division Chief, with a potential opportunity for an Endowed Chair. The Division Chief will be instrumental in guiding the development and managing of clinical services, research, and education related to geriatric behavioral health across the West Virginia University Health System.

Successful candidates will have a notable track record of building quality programs in academic medicine and a well-respected reputation in the field. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across services and disciplines will be required.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or international equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Successful candidates must be board certified in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and hold a rank of Professor. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
