About the role

Your Impact

I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As Technical lead Quote-To-Cash, you lead and guide SAP implementations keeping the business needs and standardization in mind for our global SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) template.

II. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Technical Lead (Quote-To-Cash), you help different teams and tracks in leading IT and Digital implementations for the Quote-To-Cash domain and be a crucial member of the delivery teams.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• In depth knowledge of SAP customizing in the SAP SD area and ABAP development.
• Good knowledge and experience in integrating SAP ERP to other systems, EDI integration with customers and good knowledge of idocs and API integrations.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
• Experience with data migrations for SAP to SAP (S4) and legacy to SAP implementations.
• Articulate complex technical issues, and share ideas, participate in peer-reviews/design review boards, and exhibit strong listening skills
• Be able to collaborate with various cross functional teams, internal/external technical experts, Architects, other Technical Leads, Systems Analysts, and 3rd parties to drive technical solutions
• Ability to assess product quality and other non-functional attributes and provide recommendations
• Knowledge of CRM (dynamics) and/or e-commerce (Magento) is nice to have .
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in SAP SD domain with design, development and integration of applications, services, data, and processes.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead role with a strong focus on SAP SD and/or ABAP development
• Good written and verbal communication skills (in English).
• Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment

As a Technical Lead, you:

• Lead implementation of project requirements and enhancements in the SAP SD area, with main focus on the sales order and invoicing process.
• Collaborate with IT implementation partners / system Integrators for technical design, implementations, development and deployments.
• Partner with Product Managers & Business Analysts to understand solution roadmap and technology requirements for the project to prioritise the backlog and communicate the technical estimates, plan / timelines and resources to IT and Business stakeholders.
• Work in collaboration with Solution Architects to define architecture design and review low level design and effort estimates.
• Work closely with Product Managers & Business Analysts and delegate tasks to tech team for implementation, resource allocation and delivery to meet timelines.
• You are the main point of contact for the technical team
• Lead geographically distributed teams, monitor risks/mitigation strategies with stakeholders and strive for improving efficiency of the solutions
• Ensure technical documentation is created and kept up to date with the as-built situation
• Lead the analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and implement solutions for improvement.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Engineers and Product teams to identify and recommend ways to standardize configuration, and further build out our templatized approach for Quote-To-Cash
• Lead diagnosis and troubleshooting efforts with team for critical and repetitive issues occuring in the systems.
• Keep IT & Digital solutions up to date with industry trends and developments assuring backward compatibility, maintainability of applications on latest versions.
