Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for the preparing, cooking, storing of food for patients, staff, and guests within the hospital. The incumbent will carry-out their duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of Trinity Hospital, and fully supports the mission, vision, and values of Trinity Hospital. The incumbent will have knowledge of hospital food service systems, and have demonstrated ability to interact, relate to, work with, and support the activities of a diverse workforce.

What you will do:

  • Processes room service orders
  • Interacts with patients and family members by order taking via the phone and inputting menu selections into the computer
  • Gathers, washes, & puts away dry dishes
  • Promotes positive customer service relations between Nutrition Services and Nursing units, patients, families, and all other people they meet. 
  • Maintains knowledge of profession, safe food handling and sanitation


What you will need:

  • A HS Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Prefer some cook and food prep experience
  • Good attendance is a must
  • Must be able to work every other weekend, 8 hour shift on Saturday and Sunday
  • Rotating Holidays are also required
