Role Overview:

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales team. The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales team in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to key customers and regional SE.
• Emergency response to major security vulnerabilities.
• Research on application security and apt security products.
• Write application security product solutions.
• Speech at major safety meetings.
• Train regional sales, regional SE and channel engineers in the application of security products and security skills.
• Develop core competency in Fortinet product line and technologies.

Requirements:

• Five years or more of previous experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Understanding security product solutions such as firewall, WAF, mail gateway, honeypot, sandbox, EDR, SIEM and SOAR etc.
• In-depth knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP protocol.
• In-depth knowledge of HTTP, SMTP/POP3/IMAP, LDAP and DNS protocol.
• Basic knowledge of Regular Expressions.
• Advanced knowledge about security technologies such as SSL/TLS and PKI.
• Administrative knowledge of Windows, Unix or Linux.
• Database knowledge is an advantage.
• The script writing ability of automatic operation and maintenance is an advantage (Python etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure with moderate supervision.
• Positive, communicative, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Quick learner.
