Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, is looking to add a highly motivated and professional Project Manager to our growing team in North America. This position will be located in Wichita, KS.

This individual will lead licensing projects for a full range of Koch Technology Solutions (KTS) business to ensure beneficial customer experience and meet compliance, time and cost requirements. The PM will assist in the effective creation and transfer of process technology packages for a range of process technologies. This role will encompass involvement in all stages of the project life cycle, and ongoing customer support.

As a member of the North American Execution team, you will also support sales, develop our technologies and helps build our growing technology portfolio. We can combine our exclusive technologies, expertise, and capabilities with those of other KES companies to provide overall solutions to optimize capital investments and existing manufacturing assets.

What you will do

  • Management of technology license projects and technology development projects for full range of KTS business portfolio while delivering beneficial customer experience throughout the project cycle
  • Management of technical proposals to meet sales and marketing requirements and participation in client interactions during the sales phase with specific responsibility around the project execution element
  • Application of innovation ranging from project execution effectiveness, enhanced customer experience through to value engineering of KTS offerings
  • On licensed projects, KTS’s lead / responsible person from kick-off meeting through to mechanical completion and supportive of commissioning manager through to plant acceptance
  • Develop strategies, workflows, schedules and cost estimates to deliver programs and identify key risks (technical and commercial)
  • Lead the execution of programs taking responsibility for compliance, time, cost, safety and quality
  • Support Licensing Manager during the sales phase on the implementation of the bid winning strategy and agree technical / project scope with the client
  • Manage multiple interfaces including client and engineering contractor; build leverageable relationships to overcome project challenges
  • Lead and motivate multi-function teams to deliver expected outcomes
  • Provide continuity in customer experience and coordinate the transition of responsibilities throughout the project cycle
  • Lead program reviews to embed learning into the KTS project execution and technology transfer strategy

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

  • Project Management experience executing large/complex chemical and/or petrochemical projects.
  • Previous experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience working with engineering contractors.
  • Willing and able to travel both domestic and international, up to 50% of the time.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience leading technology development projects
  • Previous experience in external customer facing roles
  • Previous experience leading front end engineering design 
  • Previous experience working with international customers and vendors
