WHAT WE OFFER

Main Responsibilities

To foster and leverage IT security principles in Covestro group and adequately protect IT assets & systems. In this role, the jobholder acts in close collaboration with different functions in Covestro’s IT and OT

• Full responsibility for providing qualified IT security advice in projects to ensure IT Security by design and ensure compliance with Covestro internal and external requirements.
• Drive security awareness program for all users in Covestro
• Support global Cyber Defense activities (incidents, investigations) and interface with Asian stakeholders
• Initiate and drive improvements, innovations and lifecycle management to the Covestro IT Security architecture in close collaboration with the involved teams globally.
• Consult actively IT to comply with security standards and Covestro's IT Strategy as well as other relevant security requirements
• Provide insight and advice to Covestro IT globally and IT senior Management.
• Being expert for all security related topics with regard to mobile devices and encryption.
• Cooperation and exchange of experience with other companies in the field of IT Security.

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)

• 3 years of IT security consulting experience or 5 years of IT experience (system administration)
• Good understanding of attack landscape
• Good understanding of English language
• Good understanding of modern application landscape and operating systems
• Good understanding of modern cloud solutions (min. two years experience)
• Good understanding of operational CyberDefense
• Good understanding of vulnerability management
