You will join a dynamic global marketing team across the US, Europe, India, and Mexico, and work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role, with a regular presence in the office when required.

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Director, this role is integral to the running of the marketing operations for the Financial Services vertical, with a keen focus on growth through new leads and expanded sales into existing customers and helping the Financial Services sales organization with their Go-To-Market Strategies. 

The mission of this role is to help the sales channel grow revenue and leverage data-driven insight for informed outreach to new targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Services Marketing Support - Support the vertical go-to-market strategy in all global markets where we have a presence and plan to grow
  • Event management - Support the vertical marketing programs with the management and execution of conference/ exhibitions and Orion-hosted events (such as in-person and virtual events including breakfast panels, evening receptions, dinner roundtables, webinars) and drive post-event follow-up
  • Demand Generation/Digital Marketing support
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to support the digital marketing programs, and leverage data insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (subject matter experts, account managers, strategic alliance leader) to execute effective demand generation campaigns, including email campaigns, webinars, events, conferences and display ads
  • Lead qualification - In conjunction with the Digital Marketing Lead and Vertical Go-to-market (GTMs) plans
  • Research key decision-makers at target companies, build and manage target lists, develop nurture and drip campaigns to drive awareness and engagement
  • Analyze lead scores and qualify leads based on data insights and strategic research;
  • Analyze and re-target new business followers from LinkedIn
  • Understand the sales strategy/key targets/ideal customer profile (ICP) and identify high-value opportunities
  • Provide data-driven outreach recommendations to Vertical Leaders/sales organization
  • Track and report on all Marketing Qualified Leads through the revenue pipeline
  • Content management – Coordinate and support the development of top-of-funnel and mid-funnel core content and sales collateral to help move leads through the sales funnel, including posting content to the Orion blog and social media. Maintain website and intranet content with the latest key messages.
  • Social media support - Collaborate with the social media team to provide input on social media.
  • Market intelligence - Collaborate with the Deals Enablement team on market intelligence and provide insight into new markets and opportunities.
  • Reporting - Monthly metrics and reporting on marketing qualified leads (MQLs), revenue pipeline from leads, and relationships built.

What you bring to the table

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience creating and implementing new B2B marketing campaigns, including email direct mail, marketing automation platforms, digital targeting and business intelligence tools, webinars, events, and conferences in the current GDPR environment

Requirements:

  • Graduation degree in marketing, business, or communications (Masters a plus)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Marketing in a B2B tech services or SaaS company, preferably in a Financial Services domain
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ accountability for leads/pipeline goals
  • Strong collaborator and ability to be hands-on and get things done in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Highly skilled at critical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems
  • Have a deep understanding of and experience in creating buyer and influencer persona, the buyer’s journey, and targeting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to drive consensus among stakeholders with conflicting requirements and motivations
  • A self-motivated leader who is driven to set aggressive objectives and meet them
  • Hands-on knowledge of Marketing Automation (e.g. Hubspot or Marketo), Office 360.
