The Stewarding Supervisor will supervise and assist with the cleaning and maintenance of all Food & Beverage areas within the hotel as well as assist the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef with managing the department of hourly stewarding employees.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and coaching the Stewarding team towards achieving exceptional service and employee satisfaction results.
  • Supervising the hourly stewarding employees and monitoring quality of work and consistency on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Assisting with leading department meetings, pre-shifts, and employee trainings.
  • Assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Assisting with monitoring payroll costs, overtime, employee attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and have a passion for teamwork.
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance and/or cleaning.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull a moderate amount of weight.
