Education: An Associate's degree or equivalent number of college units (60 semester units or 90 quarter units) including at least 15 semester or 22.5 quarter units in programming or relational databases from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Four years of experience programming, testing, and troubleshooting errors for a mainframe-based enterprise application system, utilizing COBOL or ERP technologies including at least one year of experience utilizing CICS and DB2.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
