Job Summary Job Summary On-Call Classified Substitute positions to cover absences of employees, new positions not filled yet or extra help when needed. As an On-Call Classified Substitute you can substitute in a variety of positions.
For Bus Driver and Auto Driver you must submit a current H6 from the DMV office.
Also, if you have a high school diploma or equivalent (not required for substituting), Associates degree or higher, a current CPR/First Aid card, or Food handlers Certificate, or any other certifications, please attach it to your application.
If you need to get a Food Handlers Card, the only Online version Riverside County accepts is: https://riverside.statefoodsafety.com or you can visit one of their area offices. If you have a CPR/FA card attach it to the application. (We require Adult/Child/Infant certification.) Examples of the most common substitute positions including the rate of pay of each listed: * Crossing Guard - $17.45/hourly: this is normally a one-hour position split into 30 minutes in the AM and 30 minutes in the PM. * Campus Security I - $17.45/hourly: Elementary (Most of these are split shifts - example of time is: 7:30-8:00 and 11:20- 12:50). * Instructional Assistant - $18.33/hour: This position covers regular classroom, ASES after school, and Incredible Minds Program (SES-tutoring after school). *Instructional Assistant II - Bilingual. $18.79/hourly *Health Instructional Assistant II - $18.79/hourly: Assisting special education or moderate to severe students. *Custodian - day/night time hours may vary.$19.74/hourly *Grounds Person - 6:00 to 2:30. $19.74/hourly *Bus Driver II: Rate of pay per hour: $22.55/hourly *Auto Driver - $17.88/hourly: Transporting students to and from home to school (May not be in our district) usually a split shift. (required and H6 from DMV) * Clerical - This position covers all clerical positions: Clerk I $18.33/hourly; Clerk III $20.24/hourly; Secretary IV $25.28/hourly *Library Media Technician - $22.33/hourly: May need to be willing to volunteer your time until the trainer feels that you are competent to run the library.
